Artisan Food Store The Butler’s Pantry Opens 11th Shop in Raheny

Much loved artisan food store, The Butler’s Pantry, today opens its second northside branch in Raheny, located in Raheny Shopping Centre on the Howth Road.

This brings the number of Butler’s Pantry shops to eleven, nine in Dublin, with branches also in Bray and Greystones.

Jacquie Marsh, Managing Director, said: “It’s a great way to mark thirty years of The Butler’s Pantry, we are delighted that Clontarf is no longer our only outpost north of the Liffey.”

“We remain true to the core values that have defined The Butler’s Pantry since the very beginning: making fresh food by hand and from scratch in our own kitchen, and delivering it to all our shops twice daily.”

With Easter gatherings, and Holy Communions on the horizon the opening comes just in the nick of time, and the new store is stocked in preparation for a busy first few weeks.

Some of the most popular dishes for springtime entertaining include delicious canapés of Confit Duck with Parma Ham and Plum Chutney, the award-winning Chicken with Artichoke and Wild Mushrooms, and Chocolate Marquise with Seasonal Berry Compote.

The Raheny shop will host an official opening on Saturday April 29th, when shop manager Niamh McNally and her team will be on hand to introduce customers to The Butler’s Pantry’s Head of Food, Niall Hill, Executive Chef, Declan Dunne, and key suppliers including father and daughter craft butchers, Pat and Kate McLoughlin, Paul Talini of La Collina olive oil, and award- winning coffee roaster, Brian Kenny of Silverskin Coffee.

Each of The Butler’s Pantry’s eleven branches is open over the Easter Weekend, including Bank Holiday Monday, with freshly baked bread each day.

And on Easter Tuesday, The Butler’s Pantry will launch its new lunchtime range – including sandwiches on its own stone-baked rustic breads, panini and burritos, and a range of salads for both on the move and at home, inspired by chef Niall’s recent travels east and west.
