Belfast’s Coolest Hotel Bullitt Reveals Expansion Plans that Target Dublin’s Capel Street

Hospitality giant Beannchor Group, best known for Belfast’s The Merchant Hotel, has revealed planned to bring its Bullitt Hotel brand to Dublin’s Capel Street.

The Beannchor Group already operates a number of pubs, clubs, bars and restaurants across Ireland.

In Belfast the group owns the five-star Merchant Hotel in Belfast and pubs in Belfast such as The National, Dirty Onion and Muriel’s.

The latest addition to the family, Bullitt Belfast opened last October on the city’s Church Lane.

Speaking to The Belfast Telegraph Bullitt boss Conall Wolsey spoke of his plans to take the brand to Dublin’s Capel Street in 2019.

“Bullitt Dublin will be located on the north side of the city and will have the exact same style and theme.”

“It will be a collection of buildings – a redevelopment that will give way to 100 rooms and have that feel with the ground floor connection that we have here,” he added.

The luxury hotel takes its name from the 1968 Steve McQueen movie and features architecture and artwork inspired by the movie.

The hotel is home to three bustling bars. Guest can choose from Bullitt Bar or the courtyard for a cocktail or coffee or head to Baltic Bar for tunes and beers.

For dining, Taylor & Clay, the hotel’s in-house grill, is home to a bespoke Asador that will satisfy all your meaty cravings.
