Beats and Bites – This Belfast Hotspot is Holding an Artisan Food and Vintage Records Fair

We’ve already reported on numerous occasions that Bullitt is one of the coolest spots in Belfast, and they are constantly thinking of ways to live up to this title. This Sunday, 10th September, Bullitt will be doing just that combining two of life’s great pleasures – great food and good music as The Courtyard will be transformed into a funky food and records fair.

Visitors will be treated to an amazing selection of second-hand and vintage records, craft beers, Irish charcuterie, Wagyu beef, fresh vegetables, tasty teas and Bullitt’s very own range of treats from in-house restaurant Taylor & Clay. The best part? Admission is free!

Producers selling their delicious wares on the day include Killenure Castle, home to a herd of nearly 600 Dexter cattle just outside Cashel, Co. Tipperary, producing delicious sustainable salami, chorizo and beef jerky. Forage&Cure will offer yet more tempting Irish artisan charcuterie, blending free range, locally cured Irish pork with Mediterranean flavours and spices for an authentic taste.

Nelson Sauvin Craft Beers will bring a fabulous array of beers from a number of superb craft breweries to the table and Bullitt’s own vegetable supplier, The Walled Garden at Helen’s Bay led by gardener David Love Cameron will be selling amazing fresh produce and some special treats.

Freebird Tea will be on hand to ensure you can have the best cuppa possible, supplying only the finest artisan tea and coffee from around the world. All their tea is ethically sourced, taking care of the people that grow it and the planet it’s grown on. Ten percent of their profits go towards charities that invest in local communities.

Finally, the food and records fair will house a Wagyu Butchers Shop – Wagyu beef is a cut above the rest due to unique feeding and breeding techniques, which not only result in intense flavours, but also healthier, more ethically farmed beef. Widely considered some of the best beef on the planet, you owe it to yourself to pick up a few steaks and see for yourself!

With all your delicious purchases in tow you can then spend some time flicking through a fantastic selection of second-hand and vintage vinyl – a recipe for the perfect relaxing Sunday stroll!
