Today, a global party brings wine lovers together to celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau Day. Each year, on the third Thursday of November, the famous French wine is released, and the occasion is met with cheerful anticipation across the world.
At Ranelagh wine lover’s beloved spot The Exchequer Wine Bar, the festive mood is on. They will be offering oenophiles the 2017 Beaujolais Nouveau of Christophe Coquard on tap.
Besides glasses of the vibrant and youthful red known for its juicy cherry and strawberry flavours, they also have a more complex Bojo (as friends like to call it) from the same producer; Beaujoulais 69, in which you can expect plenty of crunchy fresh strawberry, cherry, violet and spice flavours.
The Beaujolais Nouveau will be The Exchequer Wine Bar’s guest house wine for the night and guests will be able to enjoy it by the glass or by the carafe. The tap system ensures that every glass of wine is perfectly fresh and always at the right temperature.
It will be ideal accompanied with the bar’s delightful charcuterie and cheese selections. You can also look forward to creations from their chef and mixologists to celebrate the vintage with desserts and seasonal sangria.
The juice is supplied by WineLab, Ireland’s wine on tap specialist, which focuses on high quality wines.
