This Five Star Resort is The Only Irish Hotel Named on This Luxury List

Associated Luxury Hotels International, a high-end global sales organization widely considered the world leader in the field, has just expanded its portfolio to include three European properties. Among the three additions is one of Ireland’s most luxurious five star hotels, The K Club, in Straffan Co. Kildare.

The K Club holds the distinction of being Ireland’s first 5 AA Red Star Resort, and sits on 550 acres of countryside on the banks of the River Liffey. Joining the ‘AHLI Golf Collection”, there are few resorts as impressive as The K Club on this front, with two lush Arnold Palmer-designed championship golf courses which have played host to the 2006 Ryder Cup, 13 European Opens and most recently, the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open 2016.

As well as the two championship golf courses, The K Club offers 18,320 square feet of meeting space,a 20,000-square-foot spa, four restaurants including the fine dining River Room, and an array of recreational activities.

The K Club joins world renowned golf resorts such as Pebble Beach Resorts and The PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Springs. Also joining this elite collection are The Belfry in Birmingham and ALHI’s first member in Scotland, the 5 star Cameron House.

ALHI is an organisation designed to support independent or independently operated luxury properties with Meetings and Incentives marketing. The impressive ALHI portfolio includes 250 of the world’s most opulent addresses including The Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi and New York’s Langham Place on Fifth Avenue.

ALHI chief sales officer Mark Sergot stated, “These three resorts are truly exceptional, with outstanding offerings and very appealing destinations for the meetings and incentive marketplace. The K Club in Ireland is a one-of-a-kind resort.”
