If the melting pot of flavours that is South East Asian food melts your heart then you’ll want to put a note in your diary about the upcoming demos, tastings and giveaways at Asia Market, the Asian food mecca on Drury Street, and Duck, their sister restaurant around the corner on Fade Street.
Asia Market will be giving a taste of South East Asian food brand Yeo’s popular pastes and sauces on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th June with cooking demos and free tastings from 12 noon to 6pm.
On the menu will be Yeo’s Nasi Goreng Paste, Laksa Paste, Rendang Paste and Sambal Paste – an introduction to a range that will help you recreate the flavours, colours and textures of South East Asia in the comfort of your own home.
Then on Friday 16th June Duck Restaurant will be venturing away from their speciality Hong Kong style BBQ duck to feature a special menu item using Yeo’s Satay Sauce, Satay Chicken Rice.
To sweeten this savoury special, Duck is offering the first 100 customers who order the dish a voucher to redeem a free Yeo’s Satay Sauce (1 x 250ml) at Asia Market’s Drury Street shop.
