An Evening With Ixta Belfrage At Hen’s Teeth To Launch Mezcla! Her First Cookbook

Hen’s Teeth is delighted to welcome the incredible Ixta Belfrage to its Dublin 8 restaurant for one-night only on Thursday, 1st September, 2022. Ixta is a renowned cook, author and one of Code Hospitality’s most influential women in food in 2021.

To celebrate the launch of her new cookbook Mezcla!, Ixta will cook a one-off dinner for guests and showcase her talents honed from years at the Ottolenghi test kitchen. Mezcal cocktails will be served too. 

Following the dinner, Ixta Belfrage will be in conversation with Irish food writer Ali Dunworth on her new book, inspirations from the three countries she grew up in and working alongside the great Yotam Ottolenghi.

Limited tickets are available from Eventbrite and are available in tables of two for €110. Ticket price includes dinner prepared by Ixta Belfrage and a signed copy of her new book Mezcla (RRP €30)

About Ixta Belfrage

Ixta’s  style  of  cooking  draws  inspiration  from  three  countries  she  grew up traveling to, eating in and obsessing over; Brazil (where her mum is from), Italy (where she lived as a child) and Mexico (where her grandad lived). She  cut  her  teeth  at  NOPI  restaurant  before  working  at  the Ottolenghi Test Kitchen for five years. In 2020, she co-authored the New York  Times  bestselling  FLAVOUR  with  Yotam  Ottolenghi  and  in  2021, she  was  named  one  of  the  most  influential  women  in  food  by  Code Hospitality.  2022  is  very  much  her  year  as  Ixta  release  her  first  book, Mezcla!
