Alltech Craft Beer & Food Festival – Dublin Beer Cup Winners

This past weekend saw the 3rd Annual Alltech Brews and Food Fair in the magnificent Dublin Convention Centre. Brought together by Alltech this is a truly international event.

This year was no different, there was a lot of competition for the coveted Dublin Craft Beer Cup. There were 469 Entries, from 24 Countries vying to win this competition. However the overall winner was Denmark’s Coisbo who wowed the judges once again with a superb Russian Imperial Stout, this time aged in Sherry Cask. Simply called Eleven. That’s two wins in a row, I’m really excited to see what they bring next year. This beer will hopefully make its way to Ireland in the near future. To be distributed by the Rye River Brewing Company.
